Beijing Historical Sites

Over my eighth grade school year and Summer, when I was a distance learner at home in Beijing due to the pandemic, I went with my camera to many historical sites in my home city and created a portfolio of this series for the purpose of preserving the rich culture and history of Beijing in my own way. As a bustling metropolis that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity, Beijing's streets, landmarks, and historical sites offer a window into its vibrant past. By traveling to these ancient sites, I hoped to capture the essence of Beijing's cultural heritage and share the city's profound stories with those around me, in order to preserve its culture and history for generations to come.
