Poland & Slovakia

In the Spring of 2023, I traveled with my school to Poland and Slovakia, two small Eastern European countries, to visit historical sites and participate in the Slovakia Youth Special Olympics event with Ukrainian refugee children with mental disabilities. The trip was truly transformative for me, as I immersed myself in both countries' rich history and felt the impact of the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian conflict.
